CAMPS AND CLINICS
SERVE AND PASSING CAMP
This 4-day program is designed for athletes in the 5th - 8th grades.
Focus on improving your serving and passing (serve receive). These training sessions begin with skill acquisition and reinforcement. Rhythm and timing in conjunction with footwork is a major emphasis. Passing arm platform and athletic positioning will also be addressed, as players learn proper toss and arm swing mechanics. Plan on playing 4 vs 4 or 5 vs 5 games. Setters are encouraged to join this camp. Limited Space.

HITTING SKILLS CAMP
This 4-day program is designed for athletes in the 5th - 8th grades.
Focused on introducing proper approach/jump technique, arm swing and hand-eye coordination for proper contact with ball. During these training sessions a setter will be employed to help the athletes with timing and distinguishing differences in a set’s tempo and height. Tactic will also be addressed as players learn hitting mechanics. Plan on playing 4 vs 4 or 5 vs 5 games. Setters are encouraged to join this camp. Players will be placed in groups according to their skills level. Limited Space.

SYSTEMS CAMP
This 4-day program is designed for 9th-12th grade athletes.
This 4-day camp is designed for athletes in the 6th – 8th grades. The athlete will receive instruction in offense – defense systems and serve receive patterns. In this camp the athletes will also learn about transition and tactic. It’s a great opportunity for the athletes to learn and or attempt rotation for a different position. The athletes will participate in game like situation drills. Program will also emphasize teamwork and communication skills. Limited Space.

Club Tryouts Prep-Program
This program is designed to prepare athletes ages 11 through 12 (12U) and 13-14 (14U) for club tryouts. The athletes will receive instruction in serve receive patterns, offense/defense and team building concepts. The athletes will be challenged with game like situation drills that will prepare them to step on the court confident when trying out. Practices are twice a week, 1.5-hour sessions. Program ends before tryouts. Open to athletes trying out for other clubs. Limited Space.
Duration: September 22nd – October 15th

DAVID RUBIO CLINICS

On July 20th and 21st come and receive instruction from former University of Arizona head coach David Rubio. Coach Rubio transformed Arizona Volleyball into a program of national prominence. Rubio posted three decades of high-level success at Arizona with 570 victories, 20 NCAA appearances, eight Sweet 16's, four Elite Eights and a Final Four appearance. The continuation of Arizona's postseason success includes five trips to the NCAA Tournament and one NIVC appearance in the last ten seasons. The sustained team success of Rubio's tenure in Tucson is rivaled by the decorated careers of volleyball student-athletes, including a trio of Wildcat Olympians for Team USA.

This clinic emphasizes the fundamental skills necessary to be great at defense and service reception. All volleyball players: regardless of position will benefit by improving their passing and defense. The athletes will receive countless opportunities to pass controlled serves and attacks.
